BSF Launches “Future Pioneers” Bootcamp as Part of Its Social Responsibility Initiatives in Partnership with the Social Development Bank

Riyadh, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia – 15 July 2026: BSF in partnership with the Social Development Bank, has launched the “Future Pioneers” Bootcamp, one of the initiatives under “Athar” BSF’s Corporate Social Responsibility program. The initiative aims to support entrepreneurs and enhance the readiness of their businesses to secure financing through the Athar Social Responsibility Portfolio by BSF, which has been dedicated to supporting the growth of startups and empowering them to scale.
The bootcamp attracted significant interest, with more than 220 entrepreneurs applying. Following the selection process, 12 projects were chosen to participate in an intensive three days program featuring specialized training and mentoring sessions, business model reviews, project profile development, and support in completing the requirements for financing applications.
The program focuses on strengthening the practical aspects of participating businesses through specialized tracks covering FinTech, Logistics Technology, Property Technology (PropTech), Cybersecurity, and Artificial Intelligence, in addition to mentoring sessions delivered by a distinguished group of experts and specialists, enhancing participants’ readiness to benefit from available financing opportunities.
Mr. Faisal Darwish, Head of Institutional Banking at BSF, said: “This initiative reflects BSF’s commitment to supporting the entrepreneurial ecosystem and empowering startups to access opportunities that enable sustainable growth. Muayad bin Nasser Al-Bishi, VP of Strategy and Innovation at the Social Development Bank, emphasized that the partnership with BSF represents a model of integration between the financial and development sectors in maximizing the impact of social responsibility. He noted that the Bank has successfully built a portfolio exceeding SAR 360 million, with ambitions to grow it into a billion-riyal portfolio supporting entrepreneurial ventures and contributing to job creation. He added that the launch of the “Future Pioneers” Bootcamp builds on this approach by preparing and empowering startups and connecting them with financing opportunities, helping transform promising ideas into successful national companies and creating sustainable success stories that foster economic growth and generate lasting developmental impact for society.
