Do Not:

  • Respond to calls, emails, or SMS messages requesting confidential information.

BSF employees will never request your personal or banking information through calls, SMS, or emails.

Be Cautious with Emails, Calls, and SMS
Phishing Emails
Think before you click. Avoid opening suspicious attachments or links. Common signs of phishing emails could include:

  • Spelling or grammar errors.
  • Attempt to create urgency to pressure you into action.
  • Messages sent from public domains (e.g., Gmail, Hotmail) instead of the official BSF domain.
  • Requests for personal information such as username, password, or card details.

Vishing (Phone Call Scams)

To verify whether the caller is a BSF employee:

  • Ask about the purpose of the call.
  • Be cautious if asked for sensitive information or money transfers.
  • BSF will never request such details over the phone.

Smishing (SMS Scams)

  • Avoid clicking links received via SMS unless you are certain of the sender.
  • Be cautious of urgent messages that pressure you to act immediately.

Protecting your Debit/Credit Card

  • Do not share your National ID/Iqama, card number, CVV, OTP, or passwords.
  • BSF will never ask for your card information through calls, SMS, or emails.
  • Avoid saving your card details on shopping websites.
  • If your card is lost or stolen, report it immediately via the official BSF channels. For communication details, please visit: Contact Us

Safe Usage of ATMs

  • Keep your PIN confidential and do not share it with anyone.
  • Do not accept assistance from anyone near the ATM.
  • If the ATM malfunctions, shows unexpected messages, or retains your card, cancel the transaction and contact the bank through official channels. For communication details, please visit: Contact Us

  • BSF will never contact you to update your information. Updates can be made only by visiting our branches.
  • Do not engage with individuals claiming to represent BSF outside our official branches or offices.
  • Immediately report any suspicious activities or individuals offering to facilitate banking services.
